Administrative Chief, Division A
Andrea Moseley is the Administrative Chief, Division A, at the Dallas County District Attorney’s (DA) Office. Prior to her new assignment as Administrative Chief, Division A, she supervised the Family Violence Division, Ms. Moseley served as the homicide liaison for the Grand Jury/Intake Division. A native of Garland, Texas, Ms. Moseley is a career prosecutor who majored in criminal justice at East Texas State University (now known as Texas A&M Commerce), where she was recognized as Outstanding Graduating Senior in Criminal Justice in undergraduate school. After serving as a Carrollton police officer for a short stint in 1994, Ms. Moseley decided to pursue her true passion of prosecuting criminals. She enrolled in the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated cum laude with a juris doctor degree. She later landed a position at the DA’s office where she honed her trial skills and has subsequently worked her way up through the ranks over the past 12 and a half years. In 2008, Ms. Moseley was recognized as Felony Prosecutor of the Year for her work ethic and her outstanding track record of successfully prosecuting felony cases and leadership/training skills.
